Libby is a Te Puke local who studied at Otago University, and was admitted to the bar in 2016. She started her legal career in the Private Client & Trusts team at Chapman Tripp in Auckland where she advised on private and charitable trust matters. She is passionate about family law, so moved back to Tauranga to join the family law team at Burley Attwood Law in October 2018.
Libby is a Supervised Provider for Family Legal Aid and the Family Legal Advice Service. She advises on all things family law – Care of Children Act (parenting/guardianship orders and parenting agreements), child support, paternity, Domestic Violence Act (protection/occupation/tenancy orders), and relationship property matters.
Out of work, Libby usually spends her spare time outdoors – walking, biking, camping, or working on her kiwifruit orchard.
